Only a community-a social organism-equipped with a robust and agile nervous system will able to anticipate and continually respond to the shifting concerns and needs of its members and stakeholders. (A "stakeholder" of a biological organism is all the other organisms in its habitat affected by its existence. "Stakeholders" of a community are all the individuals and organizations who have a stake in its success.)
