O site suíço E-waste Guide publicou uma série de vídeos de um projeto piloto na Cidade do Cabo (África do Sul) ensinando como desmontar computadores. Os vídeos são bem didáticos e mostram o processo completo de desmontar computadores, discos rígidos, monitores, teclados e outros, e um deles, chamado waste2art (abaixo), mostra como re-significar componentes fazendo artesanato.
